Velma Margie Barfield is an US serial murderer.

1932 - Velma Margie Barfield was born on 29th of October.

Velma's first known encounter with a death close to her was her first husband, Thomas Burke.

1970 -  she remarried to a widower by the name of Jennings Barfield.

Velma murdered her very own mother, Lillian Bullard.

1976 - Velma began an occupation caretaking for the elderly, working for Montgomery and Dollie Edwards which she poisoned and died.

1984 - Velma was executed on 2nd of November at the Central Prison in Raleigh, North Carolina.(1st woman executed in US after restoration of death penalty in 1976).
