1960 - Born on the 10th of August in Malaga, Spain.

 

1981 - Moved to Madrid and won a place as an ensemble member of the esteemed National Theater of Spain.

 

1982-1990 - Banderas first gained wide attention through a series of films by director Pedro Almodóvar.

 

1988 - Starred in movies "Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown" as Carlos.

 

1992 - Banderas appeared in the film The Mambo Kings.

 

1993 - He won in Oscar as best actor in supporting role in the movie "Philadelphia".

 

1994 - He starred in the movie "Interview with the Vampire" as Armand.

 

1995 - Appeared major Hollywood releases in a starring role in the Robert Rodriguez-directed film, Desperado.
