1871 – Born on the 24th of July in Turin in the Piedmont region of Italy.


1891 – Decided to study painting at local academies and exhibited several of his early works.


1895 – Balla met and married Elisa Marcucci.


1899 – His work was shown at the Venice Biennale.


1910 – He began designing and painting Futurist furniture and also created Futurist "antineutral" clothing.


1912 – His new style in painting is demonstrated in the work titled Dynamism of a Dog on a Leash.


1914 – He also began sculpting.


1915 – Created his best-known sculpture called Boccioni’s Fist.


1958 – Giacomo Balla died in Rome on 1st of March.
