1896 - Born on the 6th of June in in Quartesana, near Ferrara, Italy.
1923 - Charged with the murder of anti-fascist parish priest Giuseppe Minzoni in Argenta.
1924 - Fled to Rome, and became General Commander of the Fascist militia.
1925 - He served as undersecretary for National Economy.
1926 - Appointed Secretary of State for Air.
1928 - He became General of the Air Force.
1929 - Served as Minister of the Air Force.
1933 - Appointed governor general of Italian-held Libya.
Visited Rome to express his displeasure with Mussolini's support for Hitler.
1940 - Killed on 28th of June while on a reconnaissance flight on top of Italian positions in Tobruk, Libya.
