Bakatin, Vadim Viktorovich

1973 - Second Secretary of Kemerovo City Committee.

1977 - Secretary of Kemerovo District Committee.

1985 - Appointed First Secretary of Kirov.

         - Inspector of CPSU Central Committee.

1986 - Member of CPSU Central Committee.

1987 - Appointed First Secretary of Kemerovo.

1988-1990 - Was the USSR Minister of Internal Affairs.

         - Was a member of the Presidential Council.

1991 - He was the last chairman of KGB.

         - The first chairman of Inter-republican Security Service.

1992 - He became the Vice-President and Director of Department of Political and Internatinal Relations of the international "Reforma" Fund.
