1762 - He was born on the 24th of October.
Son of Akbar Shah II from his Hindu wife Lalbai.
1838-1857 - After the death of his father he became the Mughal Emperor of India and he was the last Mughal emperor.
1858 - He was brought to trial for rebellion and for complicity in the murder of Europeans.
- On the 29th of March he was found guilty and sentenced to imprisonment for life.
1862 - He died there on the 7th of November.
