1968 - Born on the 27th of May in Boston, Massachusetts.

 

Bagwell grew up in Killingworth, Connecticut.

 

Graduated from Xavier High School, a private Catholic school located in Middletown, Connecticut, where he excelled at soccer as well as baseball.

 

1989 - Jeff drafted by the Boston Red Sox in the 4th round.

 

1990 - Traded by Boston Red Sox to Houston Astros for Larry Andersen.

 


1990  - Became part of Eastern League All-Star Team (AA) (Third baseman) and most Valuable Pitcher (Eastern League - AA).

 

1991 - He held as Rookie of the Year (National League).

 

1994 - Jeff played in the All-Star Game and received the Players Choice Awards (National League) and (Outstanding Player), Rawlings Gold Glove Award (National League) (First baseman) and Silver Slugger (National League) (First baseman), and become Most Valuable Player Award (National League).

 

1996-1997 - Jeff played in the All-Star Game.

 

1999 - Awarded as Silver Slugger (National League) (First baseman), and he  played in the All-Star Game, got the Silver Slugger (National League) (First baseman).
