Baghdadi, Abdel-Latif
Egyptian air force officer and politician.
1951 - He helped depose Farouk I.
1952 - Member of the Free Officers movement that ousted the Egyptian monarchy.
1953 - Baghdadi presided over the court that tried pre-revolutionary politicians.
1953-1954 - Served as Egyptian war minister.
- Junior vice president of the United Arab Republic.
1961-1962 - He was minister of planning and finance.
1962-1964 - Served on the Presidency Council, an executive body within the government.
Withdrew from government over policy differences with Nasser.
