Badgro, Morris Hiram (Red)
1902 - Born on the 1st of December in Orillia, Washington.
Badro graduated from the University of Southern California.
1933 - He also had the distinction of being the first player to score a touchdown in the NFL championship series
1934 - Red tied for the NFL's pass-catching crown with 16 receptions, a significant number in those defense-dominated days when most NFL teams concentrated on grind-it-out football.
1935 - Badgro had his big defensive moments as well in playing against the Boston Redskins, Red blocked a punt and returned it for a go-ahead touchdown.
1981 - Became the oldest person elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame up to that time.
1998 - Badgro died 13th of July.
