1867 – Maximilian was born 10th of July in Baden-Baden.

1918 – Married to Princess Marie Louise of Hanover and Cumberland, eldest daughter of Ernst Augustus II of Hanover and also served as the 8th Chancellor of Germany.

1907 – Friedrich I, Maximilian became heir presumptive to the throne of Grand Duchy occupied by his childless cousin Friedrich II, and also was made president of the First Chamber of the Baden parliament.

1911 – He retired from the army.

1918 – Reich Chancellor Georg Graf von Hertling recommended Maximilian as his successor.


        – Maximilian announced the abdication without the Kaiser’s consent, and resigned in favour of Ebert on 9th of November and immediately followed by the proclamation of the German Republic.

1929 – He died 6th of November at Konstanz, German Reich.
