1959 – Babilonia was born in Hollywood, California on the 22nd of September.

1967 – Started skating at the age of eight. She was discovered by Mabel Fairbanks along with Randy Gardner. She and Randy trained together for a year before they entered a competition.

1973 – After a rigid training, Tai and Randy were the National Junior Pairs Championship.

1974 – Together with her partner, they became the youngest pairs to represent the United States at the World Championships.

1976 – Tai was able to compete at the Olympic Games in Innsbruck, Austria. She was only sixteen but she and Randy finished 5th place. They won their first United States Championships.

1977-1980 – They held the champion position for another four years and were the crowd favorite. They captured the Gold Medal at the 1979 World Figure Skating Championships. After the 1980 Olympics where they had to withdraw after Randy was injured, Tai and Randy signed a three-year contract with Ice Capades.

1987 – Tai and her partner Randy received one of the first Olympic Spirit Awards. They also released their first-ever instructional ice skating home video titled How to Ice Skate.

1988 – Tai starred on stage together with Randy at the theater production, Festival on Ice.

1992 – She and Randy were inducted into the United States Figure Skating Hall of Fame.

2000 – She served as official host for Sports Illustrated at the Winter Olympic Games in Salt Lake City.

2001 – She was addicted to drugs and alcohol but she returned to her career after receiving treatment.

2006 – She appeared in the FOX television program "Skating with Celebrities".
