1880 - Born on the 1st of January in Kutno.
1908-1910 - He traveled to Palestine.
1920 - He sat out World War I in the U.S. where he became a naturalized citizen.
1932 - He was awarded the Polish Republic's Polonia Restituta decoration and was elected honorary president of the Yiddish PEN Club.
1936 - He returned to Poland. He later moved to France, visited Palestine.
1938 - Settled in the U.S.
1957 - Born on the 10th of July in London.
