1959 – He was born on the 6th day of March this year in Ottumwa, Iowa.
1982 - He attended Ottumwa High and began doing stand-up comedy when he was 23.
1983 - He met Roseanne Barr when she saw his act.
1992 – He starred in his own sitcom, The Jackie Thomas Show.
1993 – He and his wife bought a house together in his hometown of Ottumwa and opened a restaurant in nearby Eldon, Iowa.
1994 – He appeared as the sidekick to Arnold Schwarzenegger's character in the James Cameron feature film True Lies.
2006 - He made a special appearance in Ames, Iowa for the USA National Special Olympic Games.
