1968 - Born on the 9th of August in Chicago.
1986 - Graduated from Fountain Elementary and then City Middle/High School.
1990 - Earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a few summer schools with the National Theatre of Great Britain at
Cornell University in Ithaca, New York.
1991-1992 - She moved to Los Angeles spending a year auditioning.
1992 - Anderson was sent the script for The X Files.
1993-2002 - Starred in television series "The X-Files" as Dana Katherine Scully.
1998 - Appeared in the movie "The X-Files" as Dana Katherine Scully.
1999 - Starred in English release of Hayao Miyazaki's Princess Mononoke, where she voiced the character of Moro.
2002-2003 - Starred in the Michael Weller play "What the Night is For" in London's West End.
2004 - Married Julian Ozanne, a documentary filmmaker, in the village of Shella on Lamu.
2005 - Appeared as Lady Dedlock in a BBC television adaptation of Charles Dickens' novel Bleak House, had a starring role in the Irish film The Mighty Celt.
- She won an IFTA award for Best International Actress.
2006 - Performed in a film version of the novel Tristram Shandy.
- Nominated for the prestigious British Academy Television Award (BAFTA) for Best Actress.
- Won the Broadcasting Press Guild Television and Radio Award for Best Actress for her role in Bleak House.
