Amato, Giuliano
1938 - Born on May 13th in Turin, Italy. An Italian socialist politician.
1958 - He joined the Italian Socialist Party.
1975 - Trained as a lawyer and taught law at the Universities of Modena, Perugia and Florence before serving as Professor of Comparative Constitutional Law at the University of Rome.
- Served as Member of Parliament.
1992-1993 - He was Italian Prime Minister, since when he has been a member of the Senate.
2000-2001 - Re-elected as the Italian Prime Minister.
2002-2003 - He was Vice-President of the Convention on the Future of Europe. He is currently Global Law Professor at New York University.
