1902 - Alvarez Bravo was born in Mexico City on the 4th of February.

 

1918 - He studied painting and music at the Academia Nacional de Bellas Artes.

 

1920 - He had seen Weston experiment with refining details of his environment into abstractions with his camera.

 

1925 - He won his first award at a local photographic competition in Oaxaca.

 

1927 - He returned to Mexico City and met Tina Modotti.

 

2002 - He died at the age of 100 on the 19th of October.
