1696 - Alphonsus was born in Naples, Italy on September 27, 1696.
1723 - Entered the seminary life and studied preparation for the priesthood.
1726 - On December 21, 1726, he was ordained as a priest. He founded the "Evening Chapels".
1729 - Began his missionary experience in the interior regions of the Kingdom of Naples.
1732 - Founded the Congregation of the Most Holy Redeemer on November 9, 1732.
1762 - Became a Bishop of the Diocese of Saint Agatha dei Goiti.
1787 - Died in Pagani, Italy on August 1, 1787.
1831 - Alphonsus was canonized by Pope Gregory XVI.
1871 - Pope Pius IX proclaimed Alphonsus a Doctor of the Church.
