1923 - Almeyda was born in Santiago, Chile on the 11th of February.
1952-1953 - Became Minister of Labor of Chile.
1953-1961 - Became Minister of Mining of Chile.
1970-1973 - Became Minister of Foreign Affairs of Chile under President Salvador Allende.
1973 - Became Minister of Defense of Chile.
1975 - He was exiled and gained asylum in Romania.
1990-1991 - Became Ambassador of Chile to Soviet Union.
1997 - Died on the 25th of August.
