Allston, Robert Francis Withers
1801 - Robert Francis Withers Allston was born in All Saints Parish, South Caolina on April 21, 1801.
1821 - He graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
1826-1832 - He was elected to the South Carolina House of Representatives.
1834-1856 - He was elected to the South Carolina Senate.
1855-1856 - He won a medal at the Paris Exposition for the cultivation of rice.
1856-1858 - He served as Governor of South Carolina.
1864 - He died in Goergetown South Carolina on April 7, 1864.
