1946 – Howard Duane Allman was born in Nashville, Tennessee on November 20, 1946.

1957 – He and his family moved to Daytona Beach, Florida.

1960 – He was motivated to take up the guitar.

1963 – He and Greg were in a local band called the House Rockers.

1968 – He and his brother went back to Florida where they played on demo sessions. He played on the two Hour Glass albums and an Hour Glass session at FAME Recording Studios in Muscle Shoals, Alabama. He was hire by Hall to paly on an album with Wilson Pickett on November 1968.

1969 – He was offered a solo contract.

1971 – He died in a motorcycle accident on October 29, 1971.
