1960 - Allen was born in San Diego, California on March 26, 1960.
1976 - Attended Lincoln Senior High School and played as a quarterback.
1978-1981 - Played for the University of Southern California as a running back. Won the 1981 Heisman Trophy, Maxwell Trophy and the Walter Camp Award.
1982-1992 - Drafted as the tenth overall pick on the 1982 NFL Draft by the Los Angeles Raiders. Received the 1982 NFL ROY, 1982 IPU AFC ROY and 1982 NFL Offensive ROY. Became the 1984 Super Bowl MVP. He left the Raiders to join the Kansas City Chief.
1999 - He was ranked 72 on the list of 100 Greatest Football Player
