1874 - Frank Allen was born in Lynn, Massachusetts on October 6, 1874.

 

1893 - He became a businessman and executive with the Winslow Brothers and Smith Company.

 

1897 - He married to Clara Winslow.

 

1910-1915 - He was a member of the Norwood, Massachusetts, Board of Assessors.

 

1912-1929 - He was the company's president.

 

1915-1922 - He was a Norwood Town Selectman.

 

1918-1919 - He served in the Massachusetts House of Representative

 

1921-1924 - He served in the Massachusetts Senate.

 

1924 - He was elected as Lieutenant Governor of Massachusetts.

 

1925-1929 - He served as a Republican Governor.

 

1930 - He was defeated for re-election by Democrat Joseph B. Ely and returned to the Winslow Brothers and Smith Company as Chairman of the Board.

 

1950 - He died on October 5, 1950 and buried in Highland Cemetery in Norwood, Massachusetts.
