Alexandre de Merode

1934 - Alexandre de Merode was born in Brussels on the 24th of May.

1988 - De Merode was at the center of a number of alleged scandals involving drug-taking at the Olympics, notably at Seoul.

2000 - He resigned as head of the IOC medical commission.

2002 - He died on the 19th of November.
