1946 - Rodney Alexander was born in Bienville on the 5th of December.

1972-1988 - He was a member of the Jackson Parish Police Jury.

1988 - He became a member and represents the District 13 in the Louisiana House of Representatives.

2002 - Alexander was elected as a Democrat.

2003 - He became a member of the United States House of Representatives and represents the 5th District of Louisiana.

2004 - He was changed from a Democrat to a Republican on the 9th of August.

2005 - He joined the conservative Republican Study Committee.

2006 - Alexander's page received inappropriate e-mails from Rep. Mark Foley was revealed on September 29th. He won the re-election on November 7th.
