Albritton, Rogers

1923 - Albritton was born in Columbus, Ohio.

1938 - Admitted to Swarthmore at the age of fifteen.

1948 - Received his bachelor's degree from Saint John's College Annapolis.

1949 - Worked as a teacher at Saint John's College Annapolis.

1951 - Received his master's degree at Princeton University.

1955 - Received his Doctor of Philosophy at Princeton University.

1956 - Appointed as a professor in Harvard.

1963-1970 - Became Chairman at Harvard University for seven years and was elected to the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.

1979-1981 - Became Chairman at University of California, Los Angeles.

1984 - Became President of the Western Division of the American Philosophical Association.

2002 - Died on May 21, 2002.
