1404 - Alberti was born in Genoa on February 14, 1404.
1424 - Wrote "On the Advantages and Disadvantages of Letters".
1428 - Received his doctorate in canon law.
1448 - Appointed Rector of the parish of San Lorenzo in Mugello.
1450 - He was commissioned to help transform the Gothic Church of S. Francesco.
1472 - Died on April 25, 1472.
