Adoula, Cyrille
1921 - Born on the 13th of September in Leopoldville, Democratic Republic of the Congo.
1958 - He was one of the founding members of the Mouvement National Congolais.
1961 - He was the premier of the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
1962 - He attempted negotiation talks with Moise Tshombe, president of the secessionist Katanga province.
1963 - He removed his cabinet ministers with the most extreme views.
1969 - He was then the ambassador to the United States and Belgium.
- He became foreign minister for one year.
1978 - He died on the 24th of May in Lausanne, Switzerland.
