1927 - Adcock was born in Coushatta, Louisiana on October 30, 1927.

 

1950 - On April 23, 1950, he made his debut in the field. He was signed by the Cincinnati Reds and played for two years.

 

1954 - Accomplished a record of making four home runs in a single game.

 

1956 - Finished second in the National League in terms of home runs, runs batted in and slugging average.

 

1960 - Adcock was included in the All-Star Team.

 

1967 - Managed the Cleveland Indians for a year and a minor league team for two years.

 

1999 - Died in Coushatta, Louisiana at the age of 71 on May 3, 1999.
