1822 – Born on the 30th of July in Bellingham, Massachusetts.

1845 – He became a teacher in the Boston, Massachusetts public schools and remained in that capacity

             for twenty years.

1846 – He married Sarah Jenkins, with whom he had two children.

        – He served as a member of the School Board of Dorchester, Massachusetts for 14 years.

1869 – He became a member of the Massachusetts General Court.

1897 – He died on the 27 of March in Dorchester.
