Abramovitz, Max
1908 - Born on the 23rd of May.
1929 - He graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign School of Architecture.
1931 - He received a Master of Science degree from Columbia University's architecture school.
1941 - He also was the recipient of a two-year fellowship at the Ecole de Beaux-Arts in Paris
before returning to the US.
1961 - He led to a design for a new building during the destruction by fire of the synagogue of
congregation of Temple Beth Zion in Buffalo, New York.
1969 - He would go on to design three buildings for the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
1970 - He received an honorary Doctorate in Fine Arts from the University of Illinois.
2004 - He died on the 12th of September in Pound Ridge, New York, at the age of 96.
