1999 - Appeared in her first commercial for Toys 'R Us
2002 – Abigail was discovered by M. Night Shyamalan who casted her as Mel Gibson’s daughter in the movie “Signs.” She also made her first guest appearance on “What I Like About You” and “Hack”
2004 – She cast in the movie “Raising Helen with Kate Hudson and older brother Spencer Breslin
2006 – She had her breakout role as the lead in the independent film “Little Miss Sunshine” where she received SAG and Oscar nominations for Best Supporting Actress title.
