Abercrombie, Leslie Patrick, Sir
1879 - Born on the 6th of June in Ashton upon Mersey, England.
1915 - He trained as an architect before becoming the Professor of Civic Design at
the Liverpool School of Architecture, in West England.
- He was a Professor of Town Planning at University College London.
1926 - He served as its Honorary Secretary.
1943 - He created the Country of London Plan.
1944 - He created the Greater London Regional Plan.
1945 - He was knighted.
1956 - He was commissioned by Haile Selassie to draw up plans for the capital of
Ethiopia, Addis Ababa.
1957 - He died on the 23rd of March in Aston Tirrold, Berkshire.
