Abe, Kobo (pseudonym of Kimifusa Abe)

1924 - Born on the 7th of March in Kita, Tokyo.

1941 - He returned to Japan.

1943 - He began studies at Tokyo Imperial University.

1947 - He was first published as a poet with Mumei Shishu ("Poems of an unknown poet").

1948 - He graduated with a medical degree, on the condition that he would not practice.

1960 - He collaborated with Japanese director Hiroshi Teshigahara in adapting to film.

1962 - He worked as an avant-garde novelist and playwright.

1973 - He founded an acting studio in Tokyo, where he trained performers in his innovative performance

                methods and directed plays.

1993 - He died on the 22nd of January.
