Abacha, Sani
1943 - Born on the 20th of September in Kano, Nigeria.
1983 - He joined the Nigerian military.
1985 - He was instrumental in the two bloodless military coups d'état that brought and removed General
Muhammadu Buhari from power.
- He became Army Chief of Staff in Nigeria.
1990 - He was appointed Minister of Defense in Nigeria.
1993 - He became 10th President of Nigeria.
1998 -He died on the 8th of June.
