1959 - Making few appearances as an actor in B-films such as Revenge of the Creature, Tarantula and Francis in the Navy and got divulged in a long-running television series Rawhide.
1964 - Performed a notable role in A Fistful of Dollars.
1965 - Starred in the film For a Few Dollars More
1966 - He did a great role in The Good, the Bad and the Ugly.
1968 - He formed a production company namely Malpaso Productions.
1971- He shined in the film 'Dirty' Harry Callahan in Dirty Harry and sequels.
1986 - Elected as a Mayor of Carmel-by-the-Sea, California.
1992 - Received his first Best Director Award for Unforgiven.
2004 - Became the oldest person who won the Best Director for Million Dollar Baby.
2007 - Acquired a "Chevalier de la Légion d'Honneur", a highest civilian distinction in France bestowed by President Jacques Chirac as a tribute to his career as an actor and a filmmaker.
