1929 - Born on the 30th of November in Mount Vernon, New York U.S.A.
1945 - He began his career in show business when he started working in the mailroom of radio station
WRUN in Utica, New York.
- He was promoted to weatherman and news announcer at WRUN radio station.
1952 - He married to Barbara Mallery.
1957 - On 5th of August, he became the full time host of "American Bandstand" (long-running dance
music television) and aired on ABC (American Broadcasting Company).
1961 - He divorced Barbara Mallery.
1962 - He married Loretta Martin.
1972 - He produced and hosted "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin'Eve" (television program every New Year's
Eve aired on ABC).
1973 - He created the American Music Awards show (one of four annual major American music awards show).
1984 - He produced and co-hosted the NBC series "TV's Bloopers & Practical Jokes".
2005 - He made his return to television, returning to the "Dick Clarks New Year's Rockin'Eve"
