1600 – He was born on the 19th day of November this year in Dunfermline, Scotland.

 

1603 - He was created Duke of Albany in Scotland.

 

1605 - He was created Duke of York in England.

 

1616 – He became heir apparent and subsequently created the Prince of Wales and Earl of Chester.

 

1625 – He was King of England, King of Scotland, and King of Ireland from this year until his execution in 1649.

 

1626 - He was crowned at Westminster Abbey, but without his wife at his side due to the controversy.

 

1629 – He opened the second session of the Parliament, which had been prorogued in June 1628.

 

1633 – He was appointed by leud as the Archbishop of Canterbury.
