1980 - Storm, also known as The Queen of the Bay, was born in April at Mt. Zions Hospital in San Francisco, C.A. Storm a black and Filipino mix with long dark hair, and a carmel complextion was born into a huge family which included 6 brothers (5 older, 1 younger) 4 sisters (all younger), and several aunts, uncles, and cousins whom she was and still is very close to.
"Having 5 older brothers made me tough, rough and hard. I couldn't be no punk and I had to deal with whatever they dished out, ya know." Storm explained
Storm has had a love for music since the day she was born, and she would listen to songs over and over again to memorize the lyrics and get a feel of each instrument in the beat. Her mother woke her and her brothers up for school every morning by playing the stereo loud, singing happily and giving off the perfect energy to begin a day.
1989 - When Storm was about 9 years old her 1st cousin Aja a.k.a. Belle and her group Sugar, Spice and Everything Nice was signed to a 7 year contract with Warner Brothers, and Storm attended many rehearsals and shows and began realizing that music was her calling. She believed she knew the verses to the groups songs better than anyone and she wasn't even a member.
"I had the look, the talent, but not the support because after 2 years of watching them and learning from them they added a new member to the group who nobody even knew, and I was hurt." She recalled.
1991-1992 - She started middle school.
