1803 - Born on the 11th of December in La Cote-Saint-Andre, France.

1826 - Met Harriet Constance Smithson and was the inspiration for his Symphonie fantastique.

1830 - Composed "Symphonie Fantastique".

         - Berlioz won the Prix de Rome.

1833 - Married Harriet Constance Smithson with Franz Liszt and Heinrich Heine as witnesses.

1834 - Composed "Harold in Italy".

1846 - Cantata "The Damnation of Faust" also "La Damnation de Faust".

1852 - Wrote Evenings With the Orchestra.

1869 - Died on the 8th of March.

1870 - Berlioz's Memoirs paints a magisterial portrait of the Romantic era.
