1903 - Born onn the 28th of December in Budapest, Austria Hungary.
1911 - He entered the Lutheran Gymnasium in Budapest.
1913 - His father purchased a title, and the Neumann family acquired the Hungarian mark of nobility Margittai, or the Austrian equivalent von.
1926- His mother, and his brothers emigrated after Hitler's rise to power from Germany to the United States.
1930 - He was a private lecturer in Berlin, Germany.
- Von Neumann was invited to Princeton, New Jersey, and was one of four people selected for the first faculty of the Institute for Advanced Study.
