1988 - The Mezzanine, a Novel, is Baker's first book.

 

1990 - He wrote Room Temperature 1 Novel that continues in the same spirit as The Mezzanine.

 

 1991 - This year he wrote U and I, a true story is a non-fiction study.

 

1992 - Vox, a Novel covers an episode of phone sex between two young single people.

 

1994 - He wrote Fermata is one of the most controversial novels.

 

1998 - Baker's daughter Alice inspired 1998 - "The Everlasting Story of Nory".

 

2003 - A Box of Matches, a novel is in many ways a continuation of Room Temperature.

 

2004 - Checkpoint is composed of dialogue between two old high school friends, Jay and Ben, who discuss Jay's plans to assassinate President George W. Bush.
